Orne Council is holding its first OrneLink event. It’s an informal get-together for English-speaking inhabitants of the Orne.

There will be a visit of the Lyautey Barracks where the council is based and a talk by Ken Tatham, a long-time British resident in France and maire of Saint-Céneri (one of the most beautiful villages in France). The evening will finish with a drinks reception hosted by Alain Lambert, President of the Council.

It will be a chance to make new friends, network, find out about council services and discover ways of getting involved in the community, local politics or even starting a business in a relaxed and convivial setting.

There will also be representatives from Orne Développement (the economic expansion committee) and consular chambers to respond to any questions you may have about starting a business or settling permanently in the county.
